Numerous changes take place in the Assyrian Empire

The Assyrians captured Babylon during 1225 BC and the 2nd Assyrian Empire came under the rule of King Tiglath-Piliser I in 1155 BC.  The Assyrian Empire gained power during the reign of King Tiglath-Pilier I but started weakening after his death in 1077 BC. The Empire gained its power back again during 744 BC under the reign of a new king, King Tiglath-Piliser III.

From 721 BC till 709 BC, the Assyrian Empire became stronger than ever under the rule of King Sargon II and became able to take over the city of Babylon once again.
